​​​We are a not-for-profit housing organization that was incorporated in February 1991. St. David’s House (SDH) has a well-earned reputation for providing excellent housing and services thanks to the exceptional staff members we are fortunate to have working with us. We also have a Board of Directors that is made up of volunteer members, each selected for their expertise and experience in sectors including senior’s services, healthcare professionals and finance.
SDH provides independent adults who are 65+ the privacy of their own accommodation combined with the companionship and friendship of others, home-cooked meals, and the security and support of the dedicated house staff. ​
Our Mission
The staff and directors of SDH strive to empower individuals to live fulfilling lives while supporting their independence and well-being. Our wish is to provide safe, comfortable, and inclusive environments that allow residents to thrive. SDH is an innovative and affordable housing model for older people wanting to retain their independence but enjoy the company of others. Our houses aim to provide companionship, support, and a sense of community for older residents.
